Dr. Escobedo
Michael S. Escobedo, M.D. is the founder of Escobedo Skin Center; a non-invasive skin rejuvenation practice with state-of-the-art procedures located in Austin, Texas.
Dr. Escobedo graduated from Texas Tech School of Medicine. He completed a transitional internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Forth Worth, Texas before entering active duty service in the United States Army where he served as a Flight Surgeon. Dr. Escobedo graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University. He earned the Academic Rewards for College Scientists and the Earl Camp Biology Scholarship Award as the top senior student in his graduating class.
Dr. Escobedo served as a council member on the Mediations Committee for the Travis County Medical Society from 2004-2007. Dr. Escobedo has served as a Stephen Minister at Riverbend Church since 2007.
Dr. Escobedo has lectured at national seminars teaching fellow physicians his techniques for achieving powerful and effective results. As such, he has been featured in multiple media arenas including Austin American Statesman, Austin Home and Living, Austin Fit Magazine, KXAN News, KEYE TV, and Clear Channel Radio. Additionally, Dr. Escobedo hosts teaching seminars for other physicians as a result of interest generated from national lecture tours in La Jolla, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Miami, Florida. Dr. Escobedo’s cosmetic and longevity medical practice is the only practice featured in a book about Austin’s high-tech start-up companies: From Waterloo to Silicone Hills: The Story of Austin.
